Mayank Parekh is the Founding Partner of MVP. He is responsible for setting the overall direction of the firm, chairs the investment committee, and leads the financial empowerment domain.
Mayank has 20 years of investing and business-building experience, ranging from private equity and buy-outs to super-angel investing and building greenfield companies, as well as venture capital investing. He has made over 75 investments to date and has had several highly successful exits. Prior to his investing career, Mayank was the Managing Partner of Singapore for McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, he held several committee roles and was one of the leaders of the Asian financial services sector. The early part of his 35-year professional career was in mergers & acquisitions at General Electric.
Mayank earned his MBA from the University of Chicago (Booth) and his BA from Hamilton College. His spare time is spent with family and learning life lessons from endurance running and historical fiction books. Mayank has completed 8 marathons (and an ultra) after turning 50.
